Locate stuff in Singapore on your iPhone

If you’ve used isingeo.com for finding restaurants and bars, here’s a better way to do it.

buUuk is a location based app for the iPhone which contains information on over 4000 restaurants and bars in Singapore. It’s a free download from the iPhone app store. You can find it here.

Under the “Travel Information” section in the Home page of isingeo.com, you now have the ability to access arrival and departure information for Changi airport flights. If you use this regularly, you can access the same information quicker by going to isinjet.com and adding it to your Home Screen.

It’s Friday, it’s been a tough week so tonight you’re going to have a beer or two with friends. Use iSinGeo.com to find a bar in a convenient location, maybe somewhere near Dhoby Ghaut MRT (I can’t pronounce it but I can always find it…).

We’ll go for Ebar at the Cathay. Following yesterday’s tip just press the blue button to set your location to the Ebar. You’ll be taken back to the Home screen and from there you can select “Email Location to a Friend”, an email will open with this link in it. Add a message for your friends and you’re all set.

That blue button that appears next to a search listing, serves two purposes. It helps you find the location on the map, but also if you press it then you have the option of changing your location to the location of that search result. Give it a try.
